Our President, Mr. Shigetoshi Sakamoto, first established Hoshizaki Electric Company in Nagoya, Japan in 1947 with the first ice making machine being manufactured in 1965.To this day, Nagoya is still the headquarters of Hoshizaki and its many domestic and Worldwide subsidiary Companies in addition to being a major manufacturing complex in itself, with additionally 5 other plants in Japan, 2 in the USA and 1 in Europe.
